This year’s USJE National Local Presidents’ Meeting (NLPM) took place in Ottawa at the Westin on Colonel By Drive on June 7 and 8. The event was attended by more than 150 delegates and observers for amazing communications and social media news, membership mobilization and engagement strategies, Equity training and ended with a very successful Rally outside the PM’s Office and Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS).
Members of your Local Executive were out in force to get the message across that it’s time this government give us a fair wage increase and come to the table prepared to negotiate fairly. Our members have been there and supported Canadians throughout this pandemic and still are.
