Local 70005 Executive & Delegates - USJE Convention 2023
Who we are...
The Union of Safety and Justice Employees (USJE) unites public service workers across Canada’s federal justice system. This site is dedicated to Local 70005 which represents those members under RCMP in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Our strong team of local union representatives volunteer service to over 1,700 active members that work as public servants as well as additional civilian members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in the National Capital Region.
Our Local spans across 4 Collective Agreements:
Program and Administrative Services (PA)
Operational Services (SV)
Technical Services (TC)
Education and Library Science (EB)
We are composed of many different classifications and units spread over various building locations in the NCR, referred to as “Sections”. These sections are each represented by an elected “Section President”.
The Executive
Our Local Executive is composed of VOLUNTEERS in the roles of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Section Presidents and Shop Stewards that are all elected for terms of two years by the membership at Annual General Meetings (AGM’s).
