ATTENTION Members receiving Overpayment letters:
Members should all be aware that any request for collection of overpayments that are older than 6 years (anything currently dated earlier than January 2018) is considered expired and cannot be collected, unless you consent to it.
Members receiving such collection notices should respond by:

1. Selecting Option 2 – Disagree
2. Add the following statement to the notes field: “The time limit of 6 years for reclamation of alleged overpayment has passed and is no longer valid”.
3. Then sign and return as instructed within the time period stated in the letter. Keep a copy for your own records.

WARNING: Failure to respond will be deemed “acceptance of the overpayement and authorized for collection”. Any other request through this overpayment letter regarding other related claims or to investigate the alleged overpayment will RESET the deadline period.
